On April 4^th 2013 SSTD (Exhibition and Stand Designers Association) visited TİMDER (Trade Association for Sanitary and Building Supplies).

TİMDER General Coordinator Nurhan Tanyeli and Naz Bölükbaşı host the meeting in which SSTD Chairman Kemalettin Solmaz, Vice Chairman Sinan Meriç and Executive Board Member Ünal Tuncer participated in.

The outstanding agenda of the meeting were the problems emerged during assembly and disassembly phases in UNICERA which is the second largest international fair  and organized by TÜYAP with the cooperation of TSF (Turkish Ceramics Federation) and TİMDER (Trade Association for Sanitary and Building Supplies).

Executive Board Member Ünal Tuncer narrated the problems which stand construction companies encountered in UNICERA Fair to TİMDER General Coordinator Nurhan Tanyeli.

  - It was mentioned that when descended particulars of the current problems the most important problem was the stand assembly and disassembly time allowed by the organizer. It was stated that there was not any problem in assembly of the stands however the 1 day period specified for the disassembly created problems in various issues.

 - It was emphasized that the other problem was the inadequacy of the corridor areas  and the incoherency of the given width and height measures of the corridors were remarked.

TİMDER General Coordinator Nurhan Tanyeli said that they were informed about the problems emerged in the fair  and they organized meetings regarding this issue, they interoperated with the environments organizing the fair  which they supported as the Association in this issue. Nurhan Tanyeli stated that they would organize PIPFAİR  (Pipe, Pump, Valve, Filter Industry Fair ) in 2015 and the cooperation with UNICERA in this fair would continue.

SSTD Chairman Kemalettin Solmaz stated that they would cooperate with TİMDER regarding either stand construction, work safety in the fairgrounds or issues improving the image of the fair . He also added that as a result of the negotiation; the cooperation regarding improvement in total quality of the both companies performing stand decoration and the fair  and participants would make a major contribution by concerting with the stand decoration applications in fairground.

Within the scope of the cooperation to be performed SSTD will inspire the members and the companies in the sector regarding safety and work safety. TİMDER will advise the members demanding support for stand to interoperate with the members of SSTD.
